News production provides a routine and rigor driven by chaos and the unpredictablity.  To cope, one develops an efficiency, using repeated composition templates for example.  It feels limiting to ones ability to stretch their creativity.

 

This project was a pleasure collaborating with Janell Harris.  We could stretch our creative wings a bit by changing up the aesthetic.

 

Janell and I submitted this for Emmy review but did not receive any notice.

 

We had fun leaving the daily design.  This was a perfect job to use the new Boxx Render farm using Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Pipeline Software overseeing the Mental Ray farm render.  I learned so much.
